NOW HIRING – Full Time Registered Veterinary Technician
Community Veterinary Clinic – Windsor Essex is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic registered veterinary technician. The clinic is led by passionate animal welfare professionals who work hard, but also want the clinic to be a workplace that you want to come to! Our focus is on providing services to animals and owners who need us and improving the well-being of animals in our community. While current RVTs are preferred, we are open to a new grad who plans to become an RVT and is eager to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients.
The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, and your trained RVT skills will be put to use. Regular duties include meeting with clients during the intake and discharge process, ensuring exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will assist in preparing patients for surgery, which includes intubating, monitoring anesthesia, administering injections, and placing IV catheters. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately completing medical records, performing drug calculations, and filling prescriptions. In addition to high-volume spay/neuter procedures, you will contribute to providing other essential, affordable services, including wellness care and humane euthanasia.
